Summary
- Requires the Land Conservation and Development Commission to amend its rules related to land being added to an urban reserve (lands outside the urban growth boundary designated for future development). This bill gives local governments the opportunity to give a lower priority to the inclusion of the following to an urban reserve:
- Lands within an exception area
- Nonresource land containing planned developments or subdivisions
- Lands that would be higher priority, but where it would be unreasonable or costly to provide urban services due to physical constraints.
