Shel is an Undergraduate Office Assistant at the NYU Furman Center. She is a second-year student pursuing a dual degree in Politics and Philosophy with a minor in Economics at NYU College of Arts and Sciences. She previously worked as a Constituent Affairs Intern for the Office of Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand, where they performed constituent intake duties, individual casework assignments, and policy briefing projects in the realm of Family/Women, Federal Work, and Legal issues. Recently, she took on a role as a Writing Partner with the Expository Writing Program, working to provide valuable, semester-long support and partnership to multi-lingual writers in developing their writing skills and voice. On campus, Shel competes as a member of the Undergraduate Moot Court Briefing Team, and is also part of the Moot Court’s Outreach Team. She further pursues her legal career aspirations as an Associate Editor for the Undergraduate Law Review and a proud member of the pre-law fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta.
